About Us

In 2002 I decided to leave the Information Technology consultant job that I had and begin a lawn care and landscape maintenance business.  In order to gain the knowledge that I knew I would need, I accepted a position as a landscaper at a local resort in Harrisburg, PA.  Where better to gain a solid knowledge base than a job like that?  I became the turf maintenance person on the crew and worked there for seven years performing all tasks associated with the turf maintenance. 

At that same time, I also started my first company offering residential  services such as lawn care, tree and shrub trimming, mulching, etc.  In 2008 I purchased and owned a successful U. S. Lawns franchise for a period of five years.  U. S. Lawns is a nationally recognized company that offers landscaping and landscape maintenance services to commercial clients, home owners associations and residential clients.

My wife and I purchased our first home in Sequim in 2010 and decided to rent it while still living in Central PA.  In preparation for the upcoming move, I closed down my business in 2013 as we weren’t exactly sure when we would move to the Olympic Peninsula and I wanted to ensure an orderly transition for my customers to another company.

We decided at the end of 2015, our Christmas present to each other, that we were ready to call Sequim home and made the move in March of 2016.  In the interim period between 2013 and now I have been performing warehousing and logistics management in various warehouses in Central PA and here in the area. 

My passion has been being outside working and that brings us to now, 2021.  After discussions with my wife, I am preparing to return to what I love most.  Peninsula Lawn Care will primarily be focused on residential lawn care & landscape maintenance and I would also very much like to work with home owners associations and small commercial clients again.
